Home Sweet Upgrade

Project Goal

Make a high rise condo feel like a warm, cohesive home.

This client moved from Boulder to Downtown Denver and while he loves living in a high rise, his unit didn’t quite feel homey enough. He had several family heirloom pieces he wanted to incorporated into the design. The goal for the overall look and feel was to be masculine but not a total bachelor pad. Lastly, of course the whole design needed to be pet friendly and easy to remove dog hair since he shares the space with his adorable 8 year old lab.

Designer Notes

For this project, I drew inspiration from the beautiful fabric already on the dining room chairs and used green as my main accent color. The handmade zellige tile and new oversized countertops made the biggest impact and really elevated the space to feel just as luxurious as the views. We also transformed a desk area into a bar, updated the office and the bedroom so that from the moment you walk into the door you can tell every item was intentionally chosen and apart of a the owner’s story.
